BELL STAND

On Tuesday October 21, 2008 when i went to the Albany Marriott i was working at the bell stand. they first thing i learn was some of the roles of the bell stand. the bell stand is the first impression of the hotel and also the last. the bell stand tells people where do go and take there bags to people rooms if asked. they also hold the guest bags if they have a meeting to go to and they don't wanna carry it around. When i was at the bell stand we had to go pick up someone form the airport. when we got to the hotel we had went a talk to the people at the fronk desk. the front desk and bell stand do a lot go the same things.

Front Desk

On Tuesday October 14, i went to the Albany Marriott. when i first got there when i had did the stand down meeting . what that is, is when all the managers of each department get together about the day. i was out in the front desk department. the main thing they do at front desk is checking in and out people though out the day. when your checking people in there are a lot of number that you have to put it to get information on the person checking in. when you check some one out it is very simple. They can just give the room key and leave or they can get a printed receipt. On they day i went there wherent any problems at the time. This was a good experience for me to have.

Hey. My name is Kara Waters. I'm sixteen years old. I am finally a senior!! I got to Mohonasen high school and capital region career and technical school. When i got to the career and technical school i am taking lodging management class. I do varsity cheerleader and pirate all-stars. when i go to college I'm going for Early childhood Education. The college i would like to go is Suny Cobleskill. I will be living on campus with one of my good friends Amillia.
